“Pam” contacted ABC for Health on behalf of her sister Susan whose coverage would be ending soon. ABC helped introduce the sisters to the federal insurance Marketplace and guided them on how to search for coverage using healthcare.gov.
Like many who struggled with technical glitches just after the website went live, Pam and Susan needed a little extra help navigating the online tool, and making sure they could get accurate information. After a few phone calls, Pam and Susan were on the right path, and Susan found an affordable insurance plan that met her needs.
