- New Member Recruitment Update
- In the process of new member recruitment with the goal of adding 10-15 new members by year-end.
- First applications were due on July 18.
- We received 59 applications!
- July 31: Membership Committee meeting to determine which groups will be invited to a second application
- September: Two “Meet and Greets” scheduled for applicants invited to second round of applications
- Sept 12: Second applications due
- September/October will be spent evaluating second applications and making decisions
- Early November, committee will propose slate of new groups
- November board meeting: full board will vote on new groups
- Stock Brokerage Account set up with First Business Bank – Cheri
CSW has set up a new stock brokerage account with First Business Bank. We can receive and distribute stock gifts for all members, moving forward.
10:10 Follow up from Planning Meeting – Cheri Dubiel
- Reviewed current board and staff harassment policy with Lake Effect HR and Law.
- Will make further adaptations and clarifications to specifically name use of racial slurs
- Reviewing bylaws with Scholz Nonprofit Law
- Updating New Member orientation materials to more intentionally integrate racial justice education
