The Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Groups has created a Benefits CheckUp Center to help the public find eligible benefits. Low-income seniors and people with disabilities are welcome to call (800-366-2990 x323).
Many low-income seniors, and those with disabilities, are unaware of public benefits they may qualify for. The Coalition is making a special effort to reach out to Latinos, African Americans, and Native Americans. The programs may be able to help these low-income individuals and families when paying for prescriptions, medical care, food, or utilities.
