The small three-person staff of UNIDOS Against Domestic Violence was recently joined by Mujeres Adelante (Women Moving Forward). These women, former victims, have moved into leadership roles. They now help other Latino families prevent or deal with domestic violence issues. (Also in the photo is an intern from UW Social Work School.)
Together, this amazing group offers support to and advocacy for Latino families who are dealing with domestic violence.
