Project Home: making low-income homes energy efficient

Man working on home for weatherization projectProject Home‘s government-funded weatherization program worked on over 600 units (single-family homes and smaller multi-unit buildings) for our low-income neighbors in Dane and Green counties.  Weatherization projects helped:

  • Save low-income residents money–by reducing their energy consumption
  • Reduce the amount of energy needed from local energy companies
  • Lower carbon dioxide emissions and pollution levels
