River Alliance monitoring health of a riverAmong the many recent successes for River Alliance of Wisconsin in the past year, the organization:

  • Supported and trained 170 citizens around the state to monitor the health of their rivers (photo at right)
  • Joined a lawsuit to compel the EPA to enforce water pollution laws
  • Routinely offers resources to local river groups, including trainings, a Watershed Advocate Toolkit, and sample organizational documents
  • Helped get the Brunsweiler and Totogatic Rivers designated as “wild rivers”
