Joie Zhang – Sustain Dane
Joie coordinates Sustain Dane’s new volunteer programs and helps run our social media, including starting our Instagram. She is passionate about exploring the intersection between design and sustainability and its ability to connect communities. In her free time, you can find her either painting or running through Madison’s trails outside.

Pat Sammataro – Midwest Environmental Advocates
Pat has been a long-time volunteer at MEA. She has been a big part of The Big Share with database upkeep. She has organized our entire basement and moved our furniture. She helps us all stay organized. In her spare time, Pat loves to bike and volunteer for political campaigns. She also worked with UW Madison to get a wheelchair for her adopted dog!
