Prize Types
Power Hours
Fourteen $1,000 prizes will be awarded to groups raising the most money and having the most unique donors during designated hours. A total of $2,000 will be awarded following the completion of a Power Hour:

- $1,000 will be awarded to the organization that raises the most money during the hour
- $1,000 will be awarded to the organization that has the most unique donors during the hour
Organizations may win only one Power Hour or Super Power Hour prize during The Big Share (max $2,000).
Super Power Hour
Two $2,000 prizes will be awarded to groups raising the most money and having the most unique donors from 6:00pm-7:00pm on Monday. A total of $4,000 will be awarded following the completion of a Super Power Hour:

- $2,000 will be awarded to the organization that raises the most money during the hour
- $2,000 will be awarded to the organization that has the most unique donors during the hour
Organizations may win only one Power Hour or Super Power Hour prize during The Big Share (max $2,000).
Golden Ticket Hours
Six $250 Golden Ticket prizes will be awarded to groups through random drawings during The Big Share. A donor who gives during a Golden Ticket Hour will be randomly drawn and the nonprofit they donated to receives a $250 prize. Golden Ticket Hour prizes will be drawn based on nonprofits’ budgets:
- Drawings for small groups with operating budgets less than $500,000
- Drawings for large groups with operating budgets greater than or equal to $500,000
Organizations may win only one Golden Ticket prize drawing during The Big Share (max $250). Organizations that win power hour prizes are not eligible for golden ticket prizes.
First and Last Donation Prizes
One $750 prize will be awarded to the organization that receives the first donation after the official start of The Big Share at 6:00pm on Monday.
One $750 prize will be awarded to the organization that receives the last donation before the official end of The Big Share at 11:59pm on Tuesday.
The organization that wins the “first donation” prize is not eligible to win the “last donation” prize (max $750).
Match Minute
All funds raised within the minute will be matched up to a certain dollar amount, proportionally.
End-of-Day Leaderboard Prizes
After The Big Share, end-of-day Leaderboard Prizes will be announced.
Grand Prizes
- Most Money Raised
- $1,000 for most money raised
- Most Unique Donors
- $500 for most unique donors
- Most Improved, Online Donations
- $500 award to the organization with the largest percentage of growth in online dollars raised this year vs last year during The Big Share.
Creative Video Prize
One $500 prize will be given to nonprofits participating in The Big Share for the most creative video, live or produced.
- A link to the video must be submitted to [email protected] no later than midnight the day after The Big Share.
- Videos must be posted for the first time on social media between January 1 and the end of the day on The Big Share.
- #CSWBigShare hashtag must be used in the post text when video is posted to social media (does not need to be in the video)
- One video submission per group; video must be 5 minutes or less
- Video should be a call to action related to The Big Share
- Video should tell a story
- Video can be produced or done via a social media live. Submissions can include short form videos like TikTok and Reels
- Eligible videos will be evaluated on: a. storytelling, b. design, c. creativity, d. call to action
Videos will be judged by designCraft Advertising with the winner announced after The Big Share.
Fundraising Cheer Prize
One $500 prize will be provided by CSW to the member nonprofit who has the highest number of fundraising champions for their organization that raise dollars on the Big Share website. The winner will be announced after The Big Share.
Top Individual Fundraiser Prizes
Community Shares awards the individual fundraisers (and their favorite nonprofits) who raise the most money and have the most donors to their individual campaign.
