The Big Share® “Save the Date” Social Media Posts and Graphics

For use in January 2026

Use these pre-made social media posts and graphics to encourage your social media followers to save the date and plan to participate in The Big Share. These materials can be copied to use as-is or you can customize them for your own needs.

Remember, you can also share posts from Community Shares’ social media pages on your social media. Add your own message to make the posts your own.

We recommend that you post two times in January.

Make Your Own Graphics

Blank Photo Frame: If you would like to use your own photo in these graphics, you can use this photo frame file. It is a png with a transparent background that will allow you to add your own photo using photo editing or graphic design software such as Photoshop or Canva.

Create your own graphics and videos using templates in Canva! CSW created a project in Canva with logos, photos, icons, and more that you can use to customize graphics and videos for your organization. Email Gray Miller ([email protected]) to get access to the project in Canva. Once you receive access, you will see the TBS 2026 project in your Canva account.

Accessibility is Important: Use Alt Text

In order to make social media posts more accessible for people using screen readers, remember to include alt text for images. Alt text is a description of what is happening in photos or graphics. Alt text should provide context while being concise, detailed, and specific.

Here are suggestions for alt text for the social media graphics, along with instructions on how to add alt text on social media.
